Raising a teenager is hard… But, being a teenager is hard, too,
which is why our kids need someone they trust to lean on, to come to for advice,
and to share their lives – the good, the bad and the ugly.

A life coach is someone who helps you get clarity about the direction of your life. Unlike counselling or therapy, a life coach is interested in where you are and where you want to be.
A life coach is someone qualified to challenge, motivate, encourage and support you in achieving your goals. They will help you discover your inner values and beliefs to motivate action in moving you towards your purpose.
With a life coach you will discover your strengths and hidden abilities to fast-track your goals and ultimately live a happier life.

Children normally develop critical thinking around the age of 12.
At this stage, they prefer to be independent and “do their own thing”, including coaching.
Therefore, teen coaching suits them, because it “gives them the space” and guarantees their privacy, including from their parents.
If your child is younger, consider a child coaching service.

No, parents cannot attend the teen coaching sessions as they are designed to empower the teen and allow him/her to develop skills to increase their emotional intelligence and improve their health, wellbeing and success. This process is only possible without the presence of the parent during the session. However, we believe that parents involvement and participation, through the teen’s homework and activities is essential to the teen’s success therefore we incorporated assignments for the teens to complete that will allow you to be involved and aware of every aspect of the program.
Some parents want to go through the parent coaching program to help themselves help their teens. We encourage parents to do so and our long experience proves their teen’s success is doubled. Seeing the best life coach is life changing experience but having a parent with the right coaching skills and mentality is powerful beyond measure and guarantees a lifelong success.
Please note: Our privacy policy do not allow us to disclose any information you share with us to anyone, including your teen and vice versa. We will not be able to disclose any information your teen shares with us, though we will encourage an open conversation between you to allow you to share your thoughts and feelings with each other in a healthy and supportive way.

Coaching sessions are 45mins long, we do ask that you allow for a full hour so that you can review your notes and action steps after the session is finished.
-
Each of the sessions is built upon the previous coaching session ensuring a clear and definite path to the outcomes decided upon.
During each session, we’ll review the actions and achievements from the last session as well as look at general progress made.
We’ll look at your present position in relation to your goal as well as any obstacles that may need overcoming.
Exploring what actions and behaviours worked and what didn’t, will be important for formulating new action steps.
Lastly, we will want to look at what actions you want to set for yourself for the next session’s goal.

The single most important factor in a coaching relationship is that we feel some sense of connection with one another. I’m committed to working with clients I believe I can help, so I’ll let you know if I don’t think I’m the right person for you and I’ll do my best to refer you to someone else who can help.

I was sceptical at first too but a Zoom session really is as effective as an in-person session. In some cases, it’s actually a better model for coaching. It’s time-efficient and it’s very personal. The conversations still cut to the core of the issue pretty quickly. If you’re still in doubt, give it a try. You might be surprised.

In simple terms, Neuro Linguistic programming (NLP) is a series of models, techniques and strategies to help us better understand how the language we use influences the way we think and the results we get!
-
There are a great many reasons why NLP works so well with Teens and Young adults.
Children are like sponges, they soak up new ideas and embrace change and choices. They have not become numbed by bitter experience or resentful. They are open and ready to learn.
The NLP techniques and exercises are simple and easy to do and to replicate anywhere so our Teens can use them at school, home, anywhere
NLP is positive, it is about focusing on what we do want not what we don’t want, focusing on when things are going well, modeling excellence, what we do well and the structure of excellence.
We even teach that there’s no failure only feedback, how empowering is that for a child?!
We do not prescribe, we give choices and the more choices they have, the more flexibility and the more control they have in every situation.
Everything is possible with NLP the only thing stopping them self is the their beliefs but sadly parents often get in the way by giving the limiting beliefs which we then have to show them how to remove.
Much of our work will be with parents because of this and the fact that they will model behaviour that is not resourceful to the child. Whenever possible I will encourage a parent to have a session with me before seeing their child as this prepares them, informs them and enables the child to have a more meaningful conversation with them after their session.
You will learn lots of tools and techniques that will help our Teens
Overcome limiting beliefs
Boost their confidence and self-esteem
Manage their anger
Manage their anxiety
Learn more effectively by boosting their concentration and focus
Improve their communication skills
Manage their physical performance
Manage the feedback they get and turn it into learning
